Zax Snax was born in the small kitchen of the large Harris Family. After a long school day, Zach, the oldest child, would whip up a snack for the family from products left over from their parents' small produce market. After the family market went under, mamma Harris took Zach’s snack mix idea and ran with it, creating the first-ever flavor, Coconut Munch. 

Mamma Harris created new flavors and sold them at different farmer’s markets around Houston Texas for a few years until she decided to step down and hand over the company to her son Joel. “My corporate accounting job wasn't for me so I decided to step into the family business. With the help of my family and close friends, we have shared Zach's idea with thousands of people around the country.” - Joel Harris, CEO
